THERMOLITE® FAR INFRARED technology uses the body’s own infrared energy to generate heat. The technology is based on innovative fibers that contain special ceramic particles which absorb Far InfraRed (FIR) rays emitted by the body, and then reflect them back to the wearer as heat. Next-to-skin garments (e.g., legwear and socks) made from these fibers keep the wearer warmer longer.

THERMOLITE® FAR INFRARED technology is activated by body heat to keep consumers warmer longer. The technology is based on innovative fibers containing special ceramic particles that absorb Far InfraRed (FIR) radiation emitted by the body and then reflect it back to the wearer as heat. When knit into socks, proprietary FIR fibers from INVISTA provide warmth and comfort in cold weather.
